Djurovic, Momir

Prof. Momir Djurovic is President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and Professor Emeritus of electrical engineering at the University of Montenegro. He has contributed to a better understanding of physical phenomena related to the distribution of electric and magnetic fields in the area of electrical machines, and global energy problems

Momir has been a consultant to many leading electrical companies, as well as several governments around the world. He was Dean of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro (1973-1978); and editor of “Elektrotehnika” (Belgrade), founder and chief editor of the Journal “Electrical Engineering” (1988-2005). He is now member of several national and professional Academies and Professional worldwide. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the International Academy of Engineering and an honorary doctorate from the University of Applied Sciences of Moldova.
