Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Co-President of the Club of Rome will be giving a public lecture hosted by The Centre for Policy Development in Melbourne.

Global inequality, conflict, and climate change are driving us toward the edge, but the momentum for change is growing. As nations wake up to the need for collective action, the question remains: Is it too little, too late? Sandrine Dixson-Declève believes there’s still hope – but only if we make one bold leap and embrace five key turnarounds to create a fairer, more sustainable future. Sandrine’s lecture, drawing on the book “Earth for All”, will explore two potential futures: Too Little, Too Late, which looks at the consequences of continuing on our current destructive path; and The Giant Leap, where we see the fastest economic transformation in human history.

The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion with Warwick Smith, Program Director – Wellbeing Government at The Centre for Policy Development and Sharan Burrow, member of The Club of Rome and Vice Chair of the European Climate Foundation. It is organised in partnership with the Next Economy, The Club of Rome, Earth4All and ANU Planetary Health Equity Hothouse.
